Anita Blake

Anita Blake leads a very complicated life. She is a Necromancer who works as a Zombie Animator for a living. She is also a legal Vampire Hunter who is known by the vampires as The Executioner. She used to be consulted by the Police's Preternatural Department (RPIT) but she now has her own badge and is officially a Federal Marshall.

Her love life is much more complicated! She is dating the Master Vampire of the City, Jean-Claude, and is also his human servant. She is part of a triumvirate of power with him, and also her now ex-boyfriend Richard, who is an Alpha Werewolf. Through this triumvirate, they are permanently linked together, which can prove frustrating when Richard tries to break away following his and Anita's split. Also previous to their split, Anita was the Lupa of the local werewolf pack (Thronnos Rokke Clan), but has since been made the Bolverk, or Enforcer of the pack.

She is also the Nimir Ra of a pard of local wereleopards, since she killed their last Alpha male and there was no one to protect them. On top of this, she is also dating the Nimir Raj and current leader of the pard, Micah. It get *much* more complicated than this, can you believe, so it's best to read the books!
