Yay for holidays! We went to Blackpool on Saturday morning and got back on Monday. We had a lovely time, although I felt pretty ill. I even got to sit on the beach for a while and only got a few itchy bumps on my hands instead of full-blown blisters all over my arms. Take that sunlight! Victory is mine!
Here’s some fun pics that I took while we were there:
We also went to Birmingham today for a bit of a shop. I wasn’t well again, but Dave ended up worse than me by the end. It was absolutely scorching hot and while I sat at a cafe sipping caramel milkshake, he wandered off in search of seafood. When he came back he was literally walking bowlegged as he was so rubbed and his feet were so sore. Poor ickle cherub. I managed to finally get some Krispy Kreme doughnuts which are absolutely divine. Dave had some sushi aswell from this really cool place. The sushi bar was so funky looking. I wish I had been able to have some, but I had no appetite whatsoever
Lydia’s gone on holiday with Dave’s parents to Wales for a week. A week! We’re missing her so much and can’t wait til they bring her back on Saturday
We’ve been told that she misses us though. She’s fine during the day when she’s doing stuff, but gets really quiet and sad at night, and even had a little cry the other night. I wish they hadn’t told us that though – I want to comfort her
She’s finally enjoying the seaside apparently. When we last took her a year ago, she cried because the sea scared her. She was also really fussy abut what she would walk on, so sand was definitely out! But now, she loves water and will sprint towards any puddles she sees, so the sea was like an uber-puddle or something
Apparently she loved playing in the sea and knocking down sandcastles. I hate that we missed it, but Dave’s parents will be driving us all up to Blackpool again for the day so we can watch Lydia playing on the beach. Yay!
I’m just going to stay at home and relax for the remainder of my holiday. We were going to go to Manchester on Friday, but I don’t feel up to it at all. Dave may go on his own, but it all depends on whether he’s recovered from today by then, heheh.
*looks at clock* Ahhh, 8.35pm. I’d still be at work now normally. *reclines extra hard in chair*

sounds like you had a good time in blackpool, it’s been years since i last went there! and yes, the weather has been toooo hot, but it seems to be dying down which is good! cute layout too! :] xxx
Hey, nice site, as creepy as your layout is lol! Would you like to be affiliates?
Come on, out with it; what do you reckon England’s chances are? Will Beckham singlehandedly screw things up for a third consecutive time? Will Batman escape from the clutches of the giant spider people?
