Yay for being one year older!!! Oh. Arse. 
I had a lovely birthday on Monday – thank you all for your birthday wishes :luv: I got totally spoilt and had oodles of cards. I got £60 cash in total, a White Musk (from The Body Shop) gift pack, 3 big bags of my favourite crisps, some Irish coffee and an MP3 player off Dave *pumps fist into the air*. I’ve been wanting one of those for aaaaaaaages! Plus Sandra at work had one, which I’m sure she only got to make me jealous. She says her boyfriend bought it for her before she’d even met me, but I don’t believe that for a second 
Laila also gave me total ownership of Ickle Kitten Designs as a gift too! I’ll probably spend the weekend re-designing that in honour of the occasion. I’ve got to re-design Dave’s site aswell, so no spare time for me this weekend! Well, that’s my excuse for spending the weekend on the computer and avoiding the sunlight anyway :evil:
Stuff at work is a bit up in the air at the moment. I was made the Coach of another team, but there’s so many of them compared to the morning shift. There was only 15 people at the most during the early shift, and because we were the only team there, it was really laid back and we got the chance to get to know each other. With this new team though, there’s 26 of them! The whole shift is really busy too, so I dont have a chance to get to know any of them. I’ve also got to sit with one of the Keyers for 1.5 hours every day for 2 weeks, then with marking everyone’s work on top of that, I have literally no time for anything else! With the early shift, we sat with each of the Keyers at least twice a week to go through their work, but there’s no time to do that with anyone now. I’m finding it extremely stressful, to be honest and it’s making me ill. I’ve had two migraines since I started on Monday! 
So I’m going to have a word with my Manager tonight to see if she can get me coaching on the afternoon shift. If not, I think I’ll go back to keying with everyone else. I don’t feel as though I’m good enough to be a Coach of such a big team during the really busy evening shift. It’s not worth making me ill either. I’ve only been off the anti-depressants for a couple of months….at this rate I’ll be begging to go back on them again!
Yajaira’s comment reminded me of something I’ve always believed: when something goes wrong, something else goes right. All the bad things that have happened to me so far in my life have always ended up being positive. Even if I do have to go back to ‘just’ being a Keyer at work, at least I’ve had the opportunity to try out being a Supervisor type. Plus, I’ve still got a job at the end of the day, which is the most important thing.
I started on some new tablets (methotrexate) for my illness last week. I only have to take them once a week, so you’d think they’d be easy to remember. But nooooooooooooooo! I just remembered to take them before I went to bed last night. I’m such a silly sausage 
I’ve had no horrid side-effects so far *touches wood/head*, so hopefully I’ll avoid the day-long projectile vomitting bouts I had with the last lot of tablets.
