We got back from lounging around at the seaside in Porth, Cornwall last weekend. It was absolutely heavenly. I didn’t write about going on holiday before I went because when I did that interview for a local newspaper, they printed my street address. They didn’t give out the house number, but how many women with purple and blue hair live on my street? I’m thinking just the one. So just to be on the safe side, I didn’t post a huge ‘HELLO BURGLARS! WE ARE GOING AWAY FOR A WEEK, SO PLEASE HELP YOURSELF TO OUR WORLDLY POSSESSIONS’ blog entry.
We had a wonderful time there. The apartment we stayed in was a 10 second walk away from the beach so we woke up to a beautiful sea view every morning. Just opposite the apartment was a little cafe that did yummy cream teas, and 5 minutes walk away was a beach front pub that served food and drinks outside. I’ll be uploading all of the pictures that I took to my Flickr account once they’re all resized and stuff.
Lydia absolutely loved it there. Once she was on the beach, it was nigh on impossible to get her away. She didn’t much care for the sea the last time we went to the coast. I think it was too loud and scary with the waves “chasing” her too. This time she would drag you on to the beach at every possible opportunity shouting “Beach? BEACH?”.
There’s going to be a new default theme soon! It’s going to be replacing the current theme, but keeping the bunnies. I’ve been struggling with coding layouts for a few months now for some reason and I got fed up of getting stressed out. So I hired someone to create it for me 
It should be unveiled some time within the next couple of days! So if you see anything weird happening on the site, it’s probably me faffing around with one thing or another in preparation of the new theme.
