I’ve been feeling rather weak and floppy today and finding it really difficult to move around, especially getting up steps. I’ve been given these funky painkillers too. Now, I’ve had medication before where it warns you that it could make you drowsy, but it’s never actually affected me before. These tablets make me *really* sleepy. I even fell asleep sitting up in my chair, which I never do because I just cant sleep in that position. It’s quite cool actually! It says not to operate heavy machinery when taking them either – so no vacuuming for me! Ha!

Actually, Dave hasn’t been allowing me to do anything anyway! Every time I try to move off my seat he leaps up, asking what I’m doing and what I want. He’s even taken 2 days holiday from next years allowance to fuss over me. I was quite annoyed because he only did it because he felt guilty that he wasn’t here to help me when I fell over on Monday. The only reason I fell was because I didn’t realise how bad my legs were. Now that I do, I wont be doing anything that might get me hurt. But he frets too much and is at home watching me like a hawk. I’m really glad he’s here and really enjoy him being around and actually seeing him for more than 2 hours a day, but I just don’t want him to waste his holidays.

He treated me to some McDonalds burgers too I was dreaming about them for some reason last night and had a mad craving for them ever since. I never expected him to get them for me as he went up town too early for them to be serving burgers. If he had gone up later I would have been wondering if he’d give in But he spent ages up there, I lost track of time, then he came home and plopped a big bag on my lap! I’m so spoiled!

Jason and Louise are coming up to visit on Friday and are staying at our house until Saturday. They’ll be stopping at someone elses house on Saturday night as we’ve got both sets of parents round for dinner on Sunday for Mothers Day. Hope they wont be too bored, as I’m basically housebound It’ll be great to see them anyway, and hopefully they’ll bring lots of photos of their wedding seeing as we couldn’t go. Debbie phoned as well and she’s coming to visit on Tuesday. YAY!
