I’m on the afternoon shift at work now! Yay! I’m working 2pm-6pm, which is great. The team are really nice too and have picked things up really quickly. Their accuracy is great, it’s just their speed that’s not as good as the other teams. Ah well, that’ll come in time. They’ve only been doing it a few months, so it’s even more surprising how well they’re doing. The shift should actually be 2pm-5.30pm, but they’re letting me stay for the extra 30 mins so that I’m doing the same hours as people on the evening shift, which is very cool of them. So yes, I’m very, very happy with the job right now. The only bad thing is that I have to give a talk to the team once a week for 15 minutes on their stats :shock: I’m crap at talking to people one-on-one, let alone a big group all staring at me! Eeek!
Another sooper-cool thing from work is that we’ve had confirmation of our ‘share in success’ bonus. We were all told it would be around £800, which is great. But I got the letter confirming the amount the other day……for £1074! Eeeeeeeeeeeee! Unfortunately, it’ll come with our wages and will be taxed to hell. We’ll still probably end up getting about £700, so it’s still a lot of money! Going to get a nice shiny new pooter…..well, shiny new base unit as I already have a sooper-dooper 21″ monitor. Going to take the rest to Whitby when we go there for 2 weeks on holiday with Dave’s parents. Really looking forward to that.
I’ve re-designed Ickle Kitten, but I can’t decide if I like it or not. Ah well, I can’t be arsed to do it again, so hopefully it’ll grow on me! I’m going to be adding a few more things on there quite soon hopefully.
I’ve had to stop those new tablets that I started on a couple of weeks ago. I said that I’d not had any horrible side-effects from them, well guess what? I got some horrible side-effects! Hahaha. Ahhh, never mind. I’ve got to stop them for 2 weeks to see if it was them causing the symptoms. Stupid tablets.
Going to have a big pampering session tomorrow at the beauty salon. I deserve it. I’ve booked in to have a facial and manicure every week until our holiday on June 18th. Ahh, bliss 
I had a facial and manicure last week too, and it was sooooo nice. I almost fell asleep! But even Dave says that I need to treat myself to stuff like that more often, so now I am doing and I hope he doesn’t regret saying it

I have never had a manicure, but I love getting a facial! I wish I could do it every week…but I enjoy it when I get one. That’s so sweet that your sweetie encourages you to treat yourself like that! Most men freak out about things like that.
