I’m going to have my hair put back in dreads next week – yay! I ordered the actual dreads online (from afrocare.com for anyone interested) and I’ll be having them put in on Monday hopefully. I’m going to have black, blue and UV purple (to GLOW!) so my hair will look like a big bruise. Excellent 
The salon is on the top floor of a piercing place too, so while I’m there I’m going to nosey about some more ear piercings. I’m planning on getting a row of 4 piercings on one side and getting them stretched. The eventual plan is to have something like this:
I think it looks absolutely gorgeous, so I’m going to have a wander up to the shop today to enquire about prices and whatnot. I’m all excited now!
Edit: I laugh in the face of pain! I pour icecubes down the vest of fear! I’ve had the first one done! I had a biopsy, rather than going back and having it stretched every week. It sounds dead horrible, but just felt like having your ear pierced like normal. The worst bit was the sound. It was just like pushing a pencil through some polystyrene

I’m on a mad reading spree at the moment. The local bookstore has a 3 for 2 offer on selected books, so I got…well….3 books :???: I got 2 Dan Brown books (Digital Fortress and Angels & Demons) as I enjoyed The Da Vinci Code. ‘Twas a jolly good adventure! There wasn’t really that much of a selection of books on the 3 for 2 offer, so I thought I’d try 2 more books of his, plus another book called Firecracker by Sean Stewart. I keep wanting to expand on the types of books that I read as I always go for either horror/crime/forensic/supernatural type stuff, but everything else seems so bloody BORING! I’m hopeless 
I’ve joined the local library though, so I can attempt to read other stuff but without the pressure on my pocket stopping me from buying the ‘boring’ stuff. I’ve only rented one book so far, which is Paradise Lost by John Milton. Rather heavy stuff, so I thought that I’d concentrate on that instead of taking everything in the library 
There are two books coming out next week that I plan on buying too. Of course it will still be my usual taste in books. I’ll be getting ‘Micah’ by Laurell K Hamilton (vampires, were-animals and zombies oh my!) and ‘The Black Angel’ by John Connolly. Oh, and I’ve also ordered the ‘His Dark Materials’ trilogy by Philip Pullman. I think I need to slow down!

Your ear looks cool, I don’t think I could ever stretch my ear I’d be too scared lol.

Well, that ear piercing bizo sure isn’t my scene but someone I know at school is having her ear stretched or whatever lol and she’s 15…. yaaa lol. Good luck with that! And ain’t reading the greatest?

I just have piercings… 6 in each ear and then 2 in my left eyebrow.
Dreds…. wow. I once contemplated doing dreds, but then again, I have always been a blondie and imagined trying blonde dreds….and that was not appealing. I even tried imagining dying my hair darkers and I could not… oh well, I guess I will keep with my VERY STRAIGHT hair…lol
I have been reading a lot, mostly computer coding like cgi and php. Not as interesting as regular fictions…
oh hey, sounds like the hair is gonna come out cool… UV is fun! those are some pretty cool piercings… not something I would ever do myself (not my style), but cool nonetheless.

Second of all, why can you get away with getting dreads AND piercings? It’s absolutely not fair.

A fellow Hamilton avid reader woohoo! I started reading her work and progressed onto Kim Harrison. You might want to branch out to J.R. Ward’s Blackcloak Brotherhood series, those are good too. I have my lobes and tongue pierced, you on the other hand have some serious guts to do the stretch. More power to you!
