Hopefully this year will be better than the last one. I’m resolving not to let a certain Cockney bitch affect my life any more. I’m also planning my other resolutions to be the usual ‘eat less crap’ and to use my time online more productively instead of just browsing aimlessly around and throwing endless hours into the bottomless pit of time. I need to speak to my online friends more too. I really feel as though I’ve neglected everyone in favour of just sitting around reading the Something Awful forums (as fun as they are) because I can’t be arsed to type. I really dont like the 2005 me actually. Let’s be rid of her.
I’ve uploaded the pics of Lydia from Xmas to my photo gallery. She looks as gorgeous as always and she’s gets more and more beautiful every day
She loves her Tellytubbies toys, especially Tinky Winky and her rocking reindeer, which she enjoys pushing around the house. She still prefers her pushchair at the moment for carrying various objects around the house….and also trying to run me down
She also seems to like screaming when she’s pleased or excited about something. A real ear-piercing scream at that. It still makes me jump occasionally too. She loves being chased around the house, but goes to pieces like me (I turn into a quivering, giggling wreck when chased). She was in the front room and I heard the all too familiar rustling sound of her having found the nappy bags. So I started to stomp towards the front room shouting “I hunger for belly-meats! LYDIA’S BELLY-MEATS!”. I hear more frantic rustling and a squeak, and she bolts around the corner to face me with a big grin on her face. I whisper at her, “I’m coming to get your BELLYYYYYYYYYY!!!” and she *screams* really long and high-pitched and runs towards the front door and collapses in the corner laughing her head off
New Years Eve was spent at home with a Chinese takeaway using our new posh chinese plates and bowls that Dave’s parents got us. We put Lydia to bed at around 8pm and woke her up again at 10.30pm so that she could ring in the new year with us. It was really nice actually, and Lydia loved me bouncing her on my knee to Kaiser Chiefs ‘I Predict a Riot’, heheh. Dave and Lydia went to bed at about 12.30am, but I stayed up til about 6am as my legs were hurting too much to sleep.
Fluffy: Regarding your comment….’Masters of Horror’ isn’t a movie as such, it’s a series of TV films made by different film directors including John Carpenter and Dario Argento. Most (if not all) of the films have already been shown on TV. You’re right about Tobe Hooper being a one hit wonder, but John Carpenter and Dario Argento – there are your ‘Masters’ right there
Oh, and I like to encourage Lydia’s destructive side. Better wrapping paper and Dave’s DVDss than my comic books
Argh, I’m watching The Punisher right now, but had to leave for part of it as I was crying my eyes out. I knew the heart-wrenching bit was coming. I know that’s how he becomes The Punisher, but ffs, do they have to make it so drawn out? I’m a sensitive soul! Chop up and mangle adults as much as you want in films, but anything with kids in and I go to pieces

I’ve decided NOT to make resolutions, as they are my key to failure. I live in the moment anyway, but I hope yours works out!
