Happy Halloween!

Hope everyone had/is having a spooky Halloween! I completely cocked up my Halloween gifts to my online friends this year though  I sent out the gift to a few people, but completely lost track of who I sent them to. Then I got side-tracked with various things…blah blah blah. So if you didn’t get a Halloween gift…I’m sorry, I’m an evil person and I will throw myself into a barrel of hungry ferrets to redeem myself!

My Halloween Party went great! I was sooo knackered though. I was in the kitchen cooking everything from 9am until the guests arrived at 7.30pm  My Father-in-Law took some pics which he’s bringing along tomorrow, so I should be able to get them online asap. Until then, here are a couple of pics taken with my phone came-RAR!

Unfortunately, the ghost faces got smudged by people touching them  How rude! We had loads of kiddy-winks trick-or-treating and they loved my cakes and chocolate pumpkin lollipops – yay! I’m surprised that we had anyone trick-or-treating this year because the local schools and newspapers have been telling everyone not to. It’s ridiculous! As long as there’s a big group of them and they’re accompanied by adults, then why shouldn’t they have a bit of fun (and chocolate!). Anyone who doesn’t want kids begging for chocolate should either just not answer the door or have a sign saying ‘no treat-or-treaters’. The few miserable old sods who don’t like it are ruining it for everyone! Me and Dave had a great time giving out goodies. Even Lydia went to greet them at the door in her gothic fairy outfit!

We haven’t really watched many scary movies this time around with Lydia being up with us. We did, however, manage to watch ‘Night of the Living Dead’ and ‘Dead and Breakfast’ while she was napping  I’m hoping to watch ‘Hellraiser’ before I go to bed tonight, but hopefully I wont fall asleep halfway through. I’m tired already and we’ve got a long day tomorrow.

Off I go!

I treated my five year old grand-daughter to a visit to the cinema to see Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride for her Halloween treat. She loved it :luv: Not surprising really as she also loves Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. She’s a little goth in the making
    Happy Samhuinn!

I love dressing up for Halloween! But I wasn’t able to take part this year because it’s a Monday and none of the people at work dress up  My husband and I went to the New York City Gay Parade, though and I saw a lot of guys on man-thongs! Woot! :luv:
