The Cockle Bee competition is almost over! Well, it was supposed to be over on Monday, but I’m a lazy arse. So if you’ve only just seen the competition and not bothered, you can try now until Sunday night (very late). If you don’t know what a cockle is, just type it into Google and look in the images. From that information you need to turn it into a bee! Obviously 
If you need some inspiration, have a look at the Cockle Bee Slideshow for the entries so far. Emphasis is on absolutely no effort! Don’t think that your drawing wont be good enough. Chances are, if you think it’s crappy, it’ll most likely win

In other news…recently I have been mostly using Flock as my browser of choice. It’s based on the Firefox browser and it’s absolutely fantastic! It’s only in beta, but I’m finding it so much easier to use and there are so many cool features and extensions. It does a lot of things that Firefox does, I suppose, but in a much cooler way. I just find it much more convenient to use. One thing Dave was worried about was losing all of his Firefox bookmarks, but as you can import all of them into Flock, it’s the only thing he uses now. It’s incredibly difficult to get him to use anything other than what he’s used to, but the fact that he’s taken to Flock so quickly shows how cool it is
I’m going to be making the odd change around Icklebug over the weekend. Messing around with plugins and the like, so if you see anything strange, just bear with me and I’ll sort it asap 
I will probably change the main font colour too as someone emailed me about it being too hard to read at the moment. Well, when I say ‘email’, by that I actually mean ‘sent me a totally blank email except for the subject title’, which was rather abrupt. If you’re having problems with an aspect of my site, then I’d appreciate an email so that I can improve, but at least treat me like a human being. Just because you’re online and we’re not actually interacting face-to-face doesn’t mean you have to be a dick.

I’m in favor (favour?) of the darker text color. I was going to say something about the white earlier, but never got around to it because I am lazy.
I’ve heard of Flock for a while but haven’t bothered to download it. I’m rather tied to Firefox and I don’t know that I’m really in need of all the super Web2.0 features Flock has. That said, I’ll probably download it eventually and then wonder how I ever lived without it.
