Lydia’s christening went brilliantly. She didn’t cry at all when the Priest poured the water on her head. She just looked at him like “what the hell do you think you’re doing?!”. She slept through most of the service, and we had to wake her up to take her to the font. She had a little whinge during communion, but that was fine because while everyone went up for the wafers and whatnot, we got the bottle from her pram and were able to feed her. She had a bit of a scream when we got to the pub afterwards because she was /really/ tired, but everyone wanted to fuss over her. She’s also been really stubborn recently too and refuses to go to sleep no matter how tired she is. So she would have been screaming even if a million people weren’t kissing her head ;)
We had a wonderful time with Penny and Ian. It was great to see them and it didn’t feel like it had been 2 years since we’d seen each other - we just got straight back into the swing of things. I made a load of hazelnut cookies for the christening and for Penny and Ian to take home with them. Everyone loved my cookies and were even asking for the recipe! It was great doing something that is appreciated, especially with something as potentially dodgy as cooking.
I’ve re-done my Pixel Train page as I was getting fed up with the old design. It’s not totally finished, but I needed something new there. I had to delete a fair few wagons that I had traded with people too. Loads of the sites had gone and a couple weren’t linking me back.
I’m hoping to do more work on Icklebug as soon as I’m able. We’ll just have to see how much free time Her Highness will give me ;)
