The new version of WordPress has been out for a few days now and it keeps mocking me. It knows that I fear it. It knows the power it holds over me and my installed plugins. Will I miss a vital step in the upgrade process? Will I forget to disable a plugin? Will all the plugins still work afterwards? The possible ways of me messing this up are huge…

I saw that there was an upgrade available but I, too, fear it! I worked so hard to add my new plugins without effing everything up and I’m afraid to find out that something won’t work right, or WORSE–that I mess up all of WP! If you decide to upgrade, let me know how it goes! Best of luck if you do!

He he he! I had the very same dilemma a few days ago.
Reading all the horror stories of how people totally buggered up their WP and had to start from scratch petrified me…

This is the first wordpress version I have, but I feel your pain. Updating is tedious and sometimes unneeded. (Like Windows Security Pack 2, pfft, who needs it :P )
