Chocolate Brain Recipe

Ingredients

2 large bars of white chocolate
Strawberry syrup
Marshmellows
2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 tablespoon of golden syrup
Modelling clay
Cling film

1. Roll half of your modelling clay into a large circle about the size of a dinner plate. With the rest of the modelling clay roll it up into long thin sausages. Put one long piece down the middle of the circle. Make smaller ‘S’ shapes putting them all over the circle. This will be your brain mould.

2. Cover the mould with cling film, making sure the ‘S’ shapes are sticking out. Carefully push the mould into a bowl also covered in cling film to get the great dome brain shape.

3. Melt a bar and a half of chocolate and stir in a drop of red food colouring to make it pink. Pour into your mould and put in the fridge for 15 minutes.

4. Remove from the fridge and your chocolate should be like a paste. Spoon up the sides covering the whole mould. Put back in the fridge for another hour.

5. To make the filling, melt a couple of handfuls of marshmallows in the microwave for 10 seconds. Add two cups of crispy rice cereal and a tablespoon of golden syrup, mix well.

6. Once the chocolate has set, carefully remove the mould and its ready to fill. Squirt in loads of strawberry syrup then spoon in your marshmallow filling.

7. Melt the remainder of the chocolate and add some food colouring then pour over the brain filling making a base. Leave to set in the fridge for a further 30 minutes
