Step 5
Now we’re going to add some text! First set the background colour to black, and the foreground to Null. You do this by clicking on the black arrow and choosing the last option on the right, as it is below

Click on the Text tool, which is the big ‘A’ icon, then click anywhere in the empty white area on the blinkie.
Choose a font and size which looks best. I used Redensek font, size 12. Type your name or whatever you want the blinkie to say, then press OK
The text will have a moving border around it now. This is so you can move it around. Hover your mouse over the text until a four-point arrow appears, then click and drag it to where you want it. Right click the text to deselect it

Step 6
We now need to make copies so we can make it animated. So press Shift and ‘D’ 3 times. You should now have 4 blinkies
Save the copies with a similar name to the first blinkie
Step 7
Click on the Paintbrush tool again, and a Foreground colour of your choice
Select the first blinkie and colour the inside of the first rectangle. Then save it

Select the next blinkie and colour in the 2nd rectangle instead of the 1st.
Repeat this for the next 2, so now each blinkie has one rectangle coloured in
Save the blinkies
