We now need to make a copy of the blinkie we have just made so we can animate it. First save your blinkie, then press Shift+D. This will make another copy of the blinkie. Save it as blinkie2.psp

Go back to your first blinkie (blinkie1.psp) and make sure you have Frame1 hidden (click the glasses next to it)

Click on Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.

Save

Click on blinkie2.psp and make sure that Frame1 is visible (No red cross over the glasses)

Click on Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.

Save

Now we can animate your blinkie! Yay!

Open Animation Shop and click on Animation Wizard (first icon underneath File)

Define the dimensions as 150×20 and click Next

Set the canvas colour as transparent. Click Next…and again

Select ‘repeat the animation indefinately‘ and the frame rate as 12

Now press Add Image and browse for blinkie1.psp and blinkie2.psp and add them both

Press Next then Finish

Press the Preview Icon to view your blinkie

Save the blinkie!
