This tutorial is for installing TrueType font files (TTF) for Windows
1: First, you will need to open your Control Panel. This is found through the Start Menu
Start –> Control Panel.
2: Once you have opened the Control Panel, look for the Fonts folder and double-click on it
3: Next, click on File –> Install New Font
4: A dialog box will pop up, and there should be a smaller box with a list of folders in it. You will need to browse to the folder where the font(s) you want to install are located. For me, I double click on C:\ –> Documents & Settings –> Folder named after the XP User –> then whatever folder I’ve saved my fonts in
5: Once you have found your font folder, it should load all of the fonts you have saved in that folder in the window above, appropriately named ‘List of Fonts’.
6.Select the font that you wish to install, then click OK to install the font(s) that are selected.
Hoooray! Your font should be installed! *waves pom-poms*
There is also a font installer/preview tool that I recommend, called The Font Thing. Aswell as installing fonts, it also allows you to preview what the font will look like, even before it’s installed.
